Joyce Cheng hasn't lost vivacity despite leg injury

17 Nov – Hong Kong singer Joyce Cheng recently made her first appearance at Commercial Radio following her recent knee surgery - crutches, cast and all, Mingpao reported.

The singer, who spoke about her condition when she came as a guest on Carol Cheng and Yue Dik Wai show, shared that she has to walk with the crutches for the time being, and will remove her cast after two weeks.

"For now, I still need some assistance when it comes to showering and using the bathroom," she said.

Speaking about her previous video, where she cried about the injury, Joyce said that she loves to dance and wearing high heels, and thinking about it prior to the surgery made her anxious and worried.

"I was afraid that I would not be recovering well," she admitted.

At the same time, Joyce could also feel the love from the people around her.

"During my stay in the hospital, I had more than a dozen friends coming every day to play games with me. I was very happy binge-watching my favourite shows and having meals together," she said.

As to how she ended up injured in the first place, Joyce said that she went on a trip to celebrate the news that her application for the Hong Kong Coliseum has been approved.

"I didn't expect to get injured during the trip," she said.
