Said Babyjohn, "Six years ago, I presented an award to Joyce a well, but we didn't know each other well at the time. This time, I was very excited when I heard that I would be presenting the award on behalf of Metro Radio."

Joyce also took to social media to express her gratitude for the recognition and listed the names of everybody who were involved in the creation of the song, including composer Terence Lam and lyricist Pong Nan.

"Thank you everybody for listening to the song," she added.

Metro Radio previously announced that it has decided not to go through with its annual Hit Awards this year due to the sociopolitical atmosphere in Hong Kong. The station, however, stated that they will be awarding their winners "anytime, anywhere".
