Jordan Chan knows nothing about "WAWGD" controversy
8 Sep - Hong Kong actor Jordan Chan stated that he has no knowledge about recent reports concerning the reality show, "Where Are We Going, Dad?"
As reported on Mingpao, the actor's response came after he was asked about recent reports, in which the Hunan Communist Party of China Provincial Committee supposedly has demanded the show's broadcaster, Hunan TV to pull out the show from its airing schedule.
Jordan, who attended the premiere of "Colour of the Game", stated that he heard nothing of the sort and that they are still shooting for the show.
As for the supposed reason that the show was pulled out due to the overexposure of the celebrity children, the actor said that he had the same worry at first when he was offered to participate with son Jasper.
"But as a parent, after joining the show and getting the opportunity to interact and spend time with my son, I think it's a positive thing," he said.
When asked if he and his family would say yes to doing commercials together in the future, Jordan said that they have no plans to do that.
"Actually, I have never been comfortable with that idea. The only reason I joined the programme was because my wife told me that I should try it and take the opportunity to bond with my son. I didn't expect the programme would help me get closer to my son," he said.
