Jollibee opens 1st drive-thru with takeaway kiosk in Jurong West
Jollibee has opened their first drive-thru in Singapore with a new outlet in the West. Westies can now head to Caltex Jurong Spring at Jurong West to get their fried chicken fix from the hugely popular fast food chain.
Cunningly situated in a petrol station, the drive-thru will inevitably attract many drivers with its alluring menu.
Fast food lovers can expect the usual burger meals like Chicken Sandwich (S$7.95) in original or spicy, Cheesy Yumburger ($5.15) and the Aloha Yumburger ($8.50), double-pattied with a pineapple ring and bacon. True Jollibee fans will know that their Jolly Spaghetti with Chickenjoy (S$8.40) or 2 Chickenjoys (S$10.80) are the best combination of noodles and fried chicken around.
If you’ve only got eyes for Chickenjoy, a meal for one is S$10.50 while two-person meals are S$22.30. For a pure, unadulterated fried chicken experience, they have Chickenjoy buckets of 6 pieces (S$20) and 8 pieces (S$25.50). Honestly unsure if these are supposed to be shared around. They also have sides like the Peach Mango Pie (S$1.80), a more recent addition to the menu.
Those on foot can head to the outlet’s indoor collection point within the gas station’s minimart to make orders as well.
In Jun 2022, Westies were devastated by the closure of Jollibee’s Jurong East MRT station outlet. Since then, the franchise’s presence in the West has been limited to a branch at Jurong Point and a small ghost kitchen at Pandan Crescent, Clementi.
With Jollibee already having opened over 10 locations islandwide, surely we can expect another outlet in the West sometime soon.
