Johnny Huang's alleged ex-wife Wang Yuxin threatens lawsuit against slanderers
6 Mar – Wang Yuxin, the alleged ex-wife of Johnny Huang, recently threaten legal action against those who accused her of having an illegitimate child and deceiving the actor.
As reported on Sina, the whole thing started after several gossip sites and bloggers accused her of deceiving Johnny and demanding a RMB 50 million divorce settlement from the actor. They also alleged that she continued to demand for money from the actor since then.
In a statement released by her lawyer, it named several of these outlets and people involved, saying that the allegations have seriously infringed on Wang's legal rights and reputation.
"According to the relevant provisions of the "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China", no organisation or individual may infringe upon others' right to reputation by means of insult or defamation. Those who fabricate and spread false statements on the internet, slander, insult others, or damage the reputation of others will bear legal responsibilities such as stopping the infringement, compensating for losses, eliminating the impact, and making an apology according to law," the statement read.
It was back in 2018 that a friend of Wang broke the news, saying that Johnny and Wang were married, though the actor himself has never confirmed nor denied the marriage. The actor himself is currently linked to actress Dilraba Dilmurat.
