John Woo dubs Ha Ji-won the "female Chow Yun Fat"
19 Oct - South Korean actress Ha Ji-won admitted that she is honoured to be John Woo's very first female killer.
As reported on Singtao, the actress, who appeared alongside the director at the Busan International Film Festival's premiere of "Manhunt", shared that she was surprised over John Woo calling her the "female Chow Yun Fat".
"I didn't expect that the director would say that. I don't think I will be able to fall asleep from being so happy," she enthused.
Ha said that Woo helped her a lot in filming the movie, especially when it comes to gunfight scenes.
In a previous interview, Ha sang praises of the filmmaker, who is loved in South Korea for his classic movies such as "A Better Tomorrow" and "The Killer".
"Woo took great care of each and every actor, so I was very comfortable on the set. I have always been a fan of his works. They are all exciting for me," she said.
