John Lloyd Cruz to star in GMA sitcom
11 Nov – Now that he is signed with GMA, John Lloyd Cruz will begin his first project with the network - a sitcom called "Happy Together".
As reported on PEP, the upcoming sitcom will see John Lloyd working together with Kapuso actors like Miles Ocampo, Jayson Gainza, Carmi Martin, and Janus del Prado, as Carmi shared recently on social media.
Sharing a screenshot from their Zoom meeting, Carmi posted, "Happy to belong to a new sitcom entitled "Happy together" with John Lloyd Cruz @johnlloydcruz83 @milesocampo @janusdelprado and others. Coming soon on Kapuso network."
She also shared another photo of John Lloyd soon after, writing, "Happy to get Her. Co-actor Mr John Lloyd Cruz."
It is noted that the upcoming sitcom will also see the actor flexing his artistic chops as its creative director, while Edgar Mortiz will be helming the show.
No news as to when it will begin production.
