John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo win Phenomenal Stars

The onscreen partners won the title at the Box Office Entertainment Awards

22 Feb - John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo were among the biggest winners at the Box Office Entertainment Awards, by earning the title Phenomenal Stars of 2015.

As reported on PEP News, the onscreen partner won the award alongside Coco Martin and Vice Ganda, following the success of their respective movies, "A Second Chance" and "Beauty & the Bestie".

Cruz and Alonzo's movie previously broke box office record set by Ganda's "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin" with a total of PHP556 million, while the former box office champion followed close behind with PHP526 million for his and Martin's aforementioned buddy movie.

Meanwhile, the highly popular "Eat Bulaga!" AlDub tandem, Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza, won Breakthrough Male and Female Stars.

The award presentation will be held on 17 April at the Kia Theatre in Araneta Center, Quezon City.
