John Krasinski: Emily Blunt Always Kicks My Ass At Home

The internet didn’t stand a chance when pictures emerged of John
Krasinski having got into some serious shape for Michael Bay’s
military actioner ‘13 Hours’.

Appearing insanely ripped he was a million miles from Jim Halpert, his
work-a-day character in the US version of 'The Office’.

“I didn’t upload it, thank god,” he told Yahoo Movies UK.

Watch the interview above.

“I couldn’t handle that. If I was the one who put it out, that would
be bad, but somebody posted it so, I’m not going to say no to that
being out there.”

And why would he?

But now he’s in just as serious shape as wife Emily Blunt (below), who herself
isn’t estranged from the gym for movies like 'Edge of Tomorrow’ and
'Sicario’, is he still getting whupped at home?

“She’ll always kick my ass at home,” he says.

“If it ever came down to it, I would always lose in that fight. Emily
is a huge inspiration to me in everything I do. Certainly how to live
my life, and also on-screen and off-screen.

“But for me, getting to see her train for the stuff she’s trained for
was phenomenal, because I could see what dedication and hard work it
took.

“I didn’t have that three week period of thinking 'I didn’t know it
was going to be that hard’ because I did know it was going to be that
hard. I saw her go through it.”

'13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of ’ sees Krasinski playing former Navy
SEAL Jack Da Silva, one of the team who defended the US embassy in
Benghazi, Libya, from terrorist attacks on September 11, 2012.

Also starring James Badge Dale and Max Martini, it’s out across the UK
from today.
