Joe Ma closes down restaurant after a year
20 Apr - It was just last year that Joe Ma opened his restaurant in Whampoa Garden located in Hung Hom, which is why his recent announcement that the place is closed surprised everyone.
As reported on Singtao Daily, the actor posted an announcement on Weibo which reads, "From 1 April 2018, our restaurant Oyster Nest and Wine Nest located [in Hung Hom] have officially closed and evacuated. The top lot has also been sold to other companies."
"All future businesses and former employees on the site no longer have anything to do with me personally. Thank you for your support to us in the past."
When contacted by the media, Joe said that he is currently not in Hong Kong and will not be responding to the matter while he is dealing with private affairs.
