Joe Chen to tie the knot in Langkawi in September
4 Sep - Joe Chen's camp has recently confirmed rumours that the Taiwanese actress will be having her wedding reception in Malaysia at the end of September.
As reported on Oriental Daily, rumours of an upcoming reception sparked recently, with sources claiming that Joe and husband Alan Chen will be holding their special day in Langkawi at the end of September.
When asked about it, Joe responded through her rep that there is indeed a plan for them to do so this month.
"The location will be in Langkawi, a place that is very meaningful to them because it is the island where they decided to be together. The wedding will be a warm island event and the main guests will be their close artiste friends and good friends," the rep stated.
It is noted that Joe and Alan met on the variety show, "Viva La Romance" and registered their marriage in 2022. Due to various reasons, their wedding was postponed.
The couple were finally able to return to Langkawi, particularly the Langkawi Sky Bridge earlier this year, with many speculating that they were there to prepare for the wedding.
