Joe Chen enjoys CNY celebration in Malaysia

14 Feb - Joe Chen seems to really enjoy her Lunar New Year in Malaysia, as seen in her photos shared on social media.

On 12 February, the Taiwanese actress, who is married to Malaysian businessman Alan Chen, posted several photos and videos of her Year of the Dragon celebration, including the fireworks that can be seen from her husband's family home, to the many dishes and delicacies they enjoyed.

"May fortune come always," she captioned the photos.

Joe also revealed her love for achappam (also known as honeycomb cookies or kuih loyang), as she shared a photo of her holding on to a container filled with the snack.

"Relatives and friends can't appreciate how much I love honeycomb cookies," she posted.

We don't think Joe wants to share those cookies

Joe confirmed her marriage with Alan back in early 2023 via the show "Viva La Romance", saying that they tied the knot in Taipei in March 2022. The two met on the Chinese reality dating programme "Meeting Mr Right II" in 2019.
