Joanne Tseng doesn't think she will be HIM's next big thing

1 Oct – Taiwanese singer-actress Joanne Tseng has recently laughed at the idea that she will be HIM International's new favourite artiste, now that S.H.E is leaving the company.

As reported on Epoch Times, the singer, who appeared at an event following the announcement of Selina Jen and Hebe Tien's departure, said that the company still has a lot of artistes that they could continue to promote even after S.H.E's departure.

"We have a lot of stars. Everybody is working hard. There are no thoughts about who is better than whom," she said.

When asked if she would accept it if any one of the three members of the girl group offers her a place in their new company, Joanne laughed and said, "I would like to see who would want to sign me. They might not even want that."

As for rumours that HIM's market value has decreased since the news, the singer said that she doesn't understand investment and would rather not comment on that.

As for her own future plans, Joanne, who has been with HIM since 2014, said that she has not thought about setting up her own studio.

"I think we will continue to cooperate in the future," she added.
