26 Jul – Jimmy Lin's camp recently assured that the singer-actor is doing fine, having been rushed to the hospital after his previous accident.

On 25 July, his manager appeared alongside Jimmy's brother Lin Zhi-Xin to share more details about his condition with the media, saying that Jimmy is currently conscious and is able to have simple conversations.

They also stated that the actor will have a surgery in the near future, though declined to share more about the details due to personal reasons.

As for the rumours that have been circulating around about Jimmy, including that he allegedly failed to fasten his seatbelt, the manager stated that they have tried to ask him, but that with his current condition, they will wait until he is recovered to give his own statement.

"Jimmy is also thankful for the concern and he doesn't want to waste more resources. This will be the last time we will explain the situation to everybody," his manager said.

As for Jimmy's wife Kelly, the manager said that she has been taking care of him for the past few days.

"We hope that the media and public alike will filter carefully rumours that have been circulating. These false remarks will only cause more pain and harm to Jimmy, his wife, children and family members. For the family, the safety of Jimmy and Jenson is the most important thing," he added.

Jimmy Lin made headlines last weekend when his Tesla car crashed into an electrical pole at a road divider in Taiwan's Taoyuan City and burst into flames. The 47-year-old was revealed to be driving with one of his twin sons Jenson in tow. He is said to suffer from multiple injuries, including some fractures.
