"While many people might expect Disney and Universal parks to dominate the rankings, the study highlights a broad range of highly rated theme parks across the country from various backgrounds,” Casinos Sweeps shared in the release provided to Travel + Leisure.

The famed oceanfront boardwalk dates back to the 1920s and is home to family-friendly attractions, thrill rides, games, a fun house, arcades, miniature golf, and a world-class aquarium — and it’s all steps from its white-sand beaches. From spring through fall, it’s the go-to spot along the shore for attractions, including classic rides like a Ferris Wheel, Tilt-A-Whirl, tea cups, swings, and a Super Himalaya. Thrill seekers will enjoy the Starship 3000, which mimics the feeling of weightlessness, while the entire family can ride on an antique-style train.

The Jenkinson’s Aquarium is a favorite for locals and visitors alike to witness both regional and exotic animals, like African penguins. The state-of-the-art facility celebrates marine life and conservation through interactive exhibits and animal programs. A beloved fixture is its resident Linnaeus two-toed Sloth, Wally, from South America. A 58,000-gallon aquarium is its largest exhibit that houses an array of shark species. The aquarium is open year-round and tickets are priced at $18 per adult and $12 per child (ages three to 11).

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is also known for its year-round events, like summertime movie showings and a Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza. And the fun doesn’t end come winter with the annual Sea of Lights winter event and a New Year’s Eve celebration the entire family can enjoy together.
