Jerrold Tarog assures he will continue with "Darna"

9 Apr – Director Jerrold Tarog recently assured that he is not going anywhere, following Liza Soberano's departure from the superhero project, "Darna".

The director, who was brought in to replace director Erik Matti last year, recently responded to a netizen on Twitter, who joked that he or she is expecting him to be the next person linked to the project to resign from it, following the footsteps of Angel Locsin, Matti and Soberano.

"Not really," he tweeted. "They informed me about Liza's decision weeks ago. I was quite sad about it, but her health is more important."

Tarog added, "Just wait for the new Darna."

Soberano recently left the project after two years training for it due to previous injury from filming her TV series, "Bagani".
