Jericho Rosales knows his place in showbiz

The actor says he can no longer go on the idol route, will continue to diversify his roles

3 Feb - It has been twenty years since Jericho Rosales first set foot in the showbiz industry, and the actor has now learned the best way to maintain longevity in his career.

According to Rappler, the "Walang Forever" actor, who appeared at a press conference recently, stated that his ability to adapt has enabled him to maintain his acting career to what it is today.

"I believe in seasons. There's a time your career will dip, and there will come a time it will go up again. When you understand this, you will understand life," he said.

Rosales stated that he always knew that he will not be the big idol forever, and that trying to follow the idols of today, such as James Reid or Daniel Padilla, will not get him anywhere.

"I understand what stage I am in my life. I always try to evolve," the actor added.

Rosales continued that he has no problem accepting his age and growing older, and that he will not compete with the younger stars.

"I respect their talent and abilities, but I have my own set of talents and abilities, and I enhance and improve it," he said.

In related news, Rosales revealed that he will be filming two serial dramas with ABS-CBN this year.
