Jeremy Allen White's Estranged Wife Addison Timlin Celebrates Daughter Ezer's 5th Birthday: 'I Love You'

White also showed his daughter some love, calling her the “sweetest girl in the world”

Addison Timlin is celebrating daughter Ezer Billie White's 5th birthday!

The actress, 32, celebrated her eldest daughter, whom she shares with estranged husband Jeremy Allen White, through an Instagram post on Friday.

“Today you turn 5 and my world feels totally tilted on its axis," Timlin wrote alongside a recent photo of Ezer and a throwback photo of herself at the hospital while pregnant. "I am bewildered and in a merciless chokehold of the mystical space/time continuum. How on earth? I see you and see 1000 years in all directions, always.”

"These days all you want to do is pretend to be a newborn baby,” she continued. “Talking about your birth and the way I would hold you. It’s like both of our bodies are remembering at the same time and both of our brains are trying to catch up. Remember what it was like to hold your baby for the first time? Remember what it was like to meet the face of your mother?"

Added Timlin: “Maybe 5 is this very precious and precarious time where we’re close enough to remember and 5 enough to forge our own path. It feels like this gentle departure. From baby to kid. From new mom to mother. The littlest letting go.”

The mother of two went on to share a bit about Ezer’s personality, noting, "You tell me stories that are so long and nuanced now, you say things like ‘I can’t remember his name, so let’s call him John.' You have the best sense of humor and the best laugh. You know when someone needs a friend and when something feels wrong. When you have a big feeling- it is gigantic.”

“My jaw is on the floor at just how you-you have become, I didn’t do anything at all,” continued Timlin. “You become, you become, you become- I make space, I make space, I make space. You keep growing and I do too.”

"I look at your face and see my life flash before my eyes. I see everyone I’ve ever loved and everything that’s ever moved me. I see everyone you are yet to love and every movement you are yet to feel," she added. "It fills me with joy and peace and fear and anticipation all at once. It is a two step with life and a two step with death. Thats what being a parent is, its just that dance all of the time.”

Timlin then concluded the post by reflecting on her own age, which she said her daughter discusses with her.

“Lately when you hold my head in your hands you tell me you see shadows and spots on my face that let you know I’m getting older,” she wrote. “I see you too my sweet girl. We look at pictures of you as a baby and I cry at how much you’ve grown. You look at those same pictures and say ‘Mommy, you look so young.’ Look how much we’ve changed.”

“Happy birthday my sweet Ezer Billie,” the proud mom concluded, adding five “I love you's" — one for each year of her daughter’s life.

In the comments section of the post, White, 32, shared a message for his little one, writing, “Sweetest girl in the world.”

Timlin and White tied the knot a year after Ezere was born. The following year, they welcomed their second daughter, Dolores Wild White, on Dec. 12, 2020.

After nearly four years of marriage, Timlin filed for divorce from White in May 2023.

Months later, after White was spotted hugging Timlin at one of Ezer's soccer games, a source told PEOPLE that the actors are “still separated, but getting along.”

"They love their children and all spend time together,” the insider added. “When she filed for divorce, she was upset. Things have settled a bit."

Since their split, the couple has agreed to share joint custody of their daughters, so long as White uses a Soberlink device to ensure that he is sober before he sees his kids, and attends therapy and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings weekly, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.
