Jennifer Yu returns to TV drama after motherhood

28 May - She might be a movie queen now, after winning multiple accolades for her film roles, but Jennifer Yu will not say no to doing more dramas in the future.

As reported on Singtao, the actress, who was seen at the launching ceremony of her new ViuTV drama, "Ma Lat Mummy" (translated title), stated that she will accept any work coming her way, especially if it has a great script.

"This is my first time filming a drama [since becoming a mother]. The last time I filmed a drama, it was 'Single Papa'," she said.

Although Jennifer said that she wanted to play a mum role again after becoming a mother, she couldn't help and laugh as she pointed out that she has played the role of a mother more than 10 times since she entered the industry.

"But this time, it is a light comedy, which is something new for me," she added.

In the new drama, Jennifer plays a woman who finds herself exchanging souls with another man (played by Kenny Wong) due to a traffic accident.
