Jennifer Yu would not get married in the next five years

24 Oct – Ever since she had her fortune told, Hong Kong actress Jennifer Yu said that she has decided to focus on her career for the time being.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at Madame Figaro Hong Kong inaugural party last weekend, stated that a fortune teller recently told her that there would be no marriage in the cards for her in the next five years.

"He said that I will not meet my future husband in five years and told me that I should concentrate on my work and earn more money. I was planning to attend [Super Girls member] Jessica's wedding in Taiwan and stay a few days to seek a potential suitor. Now I have changed my mind," she said in a jest.

Jennifer said that she previously felt anxious about her own love life after seeing friends around her getting married and taking the next step in life.

"But now that the fortune teller said that I will get married in my 30s, I will calmly look forward to it," she said.

Jennifer's last relationship was with Hong Kong actor Carlos Chan.
