Jennifer Yu could have been a Super Girl
11 Aug – Jennifer Yu recently surprised even Cheronna Ng when she revealed that she could have been a member of the latter's girl group Super Girls.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who sat down with the said singer to promote their new song, "The Great Divide", shared that she actually auditioned to be a part of the group when she was 17.
"The company had already picked me to join, but I was still studying at the time and could not manage my time. So in the end it did not come to fruition," she said.
Despite that, Jennifer said that she was lucky to be able to cooperate with members of the group in different projects.
"I sang live with Aka before, and recorded this song with Cheronna. I will collaborate with Yanny in a new film soon, and I even caught Jessica's bouquet at her wedding," she said.
Cheronna was surprised over hearing this, saying that she never knew about it.
"She is so lucky not to have to be with us because now she has a more exciting personal development. Jennifer is also younger, so it would have been quite challenging to be around us," she said with a laugh.
