Jennifer Shum sparks pregnancy rumours
5 Apr â Jennifer Shum has sparked pregnancy rumours after it was revealed that she will be leaving her long-running series for six months.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress set tongues wagging as early as last week, when her "Come Home Love" character Icy did not show up for a week, only for Icy's boyfriend KC to reveal in a recent episode that she is taking care of her mother in the US and will not be back for six months.
When asked about her character's hiatus, Jennifer responded, "Thank you for asking. Icy is just temporarily returning to the US to visit relatives. I hope she can still see everyone again in the future. We'll have to see the storyline and wait for the scriptwriter to arrange everything."
Asked if Icy's absence has something to do with a pregnancy, Jennifer replied, "If there are good news, I will announce it to everybody myself."
It was back in November that the TVB actress married her non-celebrity boyfriend Kelvin Cheung. Prior to their marriage, Jennifer was in a long-term relationship with fellow actor Benjamin Yuen, who is now married to Bowie Tsang.
