No longer the fresh princess of Bel Air, Jenny has officially left the block. That's right, after eight months on the market, Jennifer Lopez's prized Bel-Air abode has been sold for $34 million. This is the latest real-estate move for the Hustlers star, who has famously fallen in and out of escrow on multiple properties with husband, Ben Affleck. According to listing agent Brett Lawyer of Carolwood Estates, Lopez originally purchased this 14,000-square-foot estate from actress Sela Ward back in 2016, and lived there up until she and Affleck paid $61 million (in cash!) for their new Beverly Hills mega-mansion in June.
One look at the property and it's not too hard to see why the triple-threat was drawn to it. Originally built by famed architect Samuel Marx—and swathed in lush foliage—this palatial pad has an idyllic French countryside vibe that must have captivated the "Get Right" songstress. (After all, she is a major Fixer Upper fan.) The use of exposed wooden beams and stacked stone accents throughout feel delightfully rustic, while modern touches like a marble fireplace and sun-drenched windows ring oh-so luxurious. And, in true A-Lister fashion, the property is filled to the brim with high-end amenities. A 30-seat screening room to watch a Maid in Manhattan and The Wedding Planner double feature? Check. A guest house complete with a private gym so Lopez can get tour-ready? Check. And, of course, there's an 100-seat amphitheater should the Super Bowl headliner want to give an impromptu concert.
Ready for a real-estate encore? Keep scrolling for an intimate look at the star-studded space. Though the anonymous buyer spent a pretty penny on this home, a peek at this property, like J. Lo's love, don't cost a thing.
Though Lopez dazzles onstage with lavish, sparkly costumes, her off-duty persona actually skews more rustic. Case in point: This charming living room, which is packed with country touches such as exposed wooden beams and wrought-iron railings.
What better way to kick back and relax after a long day of rehearsals and recordings than by snuggling up next to this statement stone fireplace with a Delola in hand? This cozy sitting area gives off major ski lodge vibes in the heart of Los Angeles. (A win-win in our book.)
Regardless of your level of culinary expertise, this kitchen is so fabulous that you'll actually want to spend time here. The magic lies in the open storage, generous skylights, and a statement-making oven hood.
We can only imagine Lopez's sunken dining room was the backdrop for lots of incredible gatherings, from chill catchups with Bennifer's blended family to celeb-packed dinner parties. Thanks to the modern fireplace and built-in shelves, this area delivers on a multi-sensory experience.
Let's get loud! We imagine Lopez enjoyed plenty of movie marathons—with, say, a certain Academy Award-winning Bostonian—in this sleek, 30-person theater.
The nine-bedroom residence is equipped with nine bathrooms, and this one is giving a definite ooze spa-like vibe. Here, a freestanding tub has easy access to the outdoors, offering an excellent soaking view.
Speaking of the outdoors, the residence is outfitted with a well-appointed patio, complete with a fire pit and handful of sitting areas. Mother Nature has never looked so good.
We have a feeling that the new owner will get a lot of mileage out of the property's infinity pool and spa. Talk about some fun in the sun!
