Jennifer Lawrence's XL 'glass hair' is a thing of impossible shine
While Jennifer Lawrence looks like a Barbie doll 99.9 per cent of the time (read: porcelain-like skin and fashions to rival a Parisian runway), today, it's her impossibly shiny hair that has us reminiscing on our favourite childhood toy. Though, JLaw's locks are, undoubtedly, more luscious than Barbara's somewhat synthetic knots*.
*Y'know – the result of an eight-hour play sesh with post-jam sandwich hands...
Taking to the red carpet launch of the new Longines Mini Dolce Vita store in New York, Jennifer stepped out in full glam, making use of her team of esteemed professionals. Ahh, to be an A-List celeb with a squad at your every beck and call!
Makeup artist, Hung Vanngo took on the task of creating the actor's smoky eye and nude lip combo while Jamie Mizrahi, fashion stylist to the stars put together Jen's cut-out gown ensemble. But above all, it was the billowing curls by Gregory Russell that stole the show. That is, for us, anyway!
As shown in the pictures shared on Instagram, Gregory styled Jennifer's long blonde locks over her left shoulder and in loose, bouncy curls. Keeping it understated and sophisticated, the two opted for a middle parting – very Gen Z.
As a result of the products used on the star's tresses, a glass-like effect has been created. Aka, lengths that are so reflective you need to put a pair of sunnies on when admiring. Gorg.
