Jennie and V seen holding hands in Paris
19 May – Fans of both BTS and BLACKPINK are in pandemonium after a new video was released showing V and Jennie walking together hand in hand.
The video, which was released on TikTok, showed the two performers walking happily along the Seine in Paris, holding each other's hands and appearing very happy together.
Fans immediately searched for the person who took the video, the latter, a French journalist named Amar Taouali, who then stated that he saw them together and had to improvise by filming them from afar.
Rumours of romance between the two sparked as early as December 2021, when V (real name Kim Tae-Hyung) briefly followed and then unfollowed the BLACKPINK member. It resurfaced last year, after a photo went viral showing two people looking like Jennie and V on an island date in Jeju.
It is noted that both YG Entertainment and Big hit Music have never denied directly the rumours, only saying that they will inform the public "if we have different response to share."
Jennie has been in France to promote her new HBO drama, "The Idol", which had its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
