Jennie Kim's camp apologises for vaping controversy

10 Jul - Jennie Kim's camp has finally addressed the recent backlash over the singer's vape controversy with a statement of apology.

The whole issue sparked on 8 July, when a video of the BLACKPINK member vaping indoors while getting her makeup done circulated online, causing many to slam the singer for her rude behaviour.

It is noted that the said footage, which was part of her vlog uploaded on YouTube on 2 July, had since been deleted.

In response to the issue, OA Entertainment released an apology, saying, "Jennie acknowledges and deeply regrets her mistake of vaping indoors and causing inconvenience to the staff. She has also personally apologised to everybody who may have been affected."

The company also stated that they will try their best to prevent the same situation from happening again in the future.

Meanwhile, the singer seemed unfazed by the controversy, as she continued to post photos from Capri Island.
