Jelly Lin, Song Weilong deny reconciliation
13 Aug – Former celebrity couple Song Weilong and Jelly Lin Yun have denied rumours that they are back together.
As reported on Sina, rumours of the couple rekindling their romance sparked last week, after Song posted his location on Weibo on Qixi Festival revealing that he was in Tokyo, Japan, at the time. He wrote, "Happy Chinese Valentine's Day."
He later deleted the post and wrote a similar caption without revealing his location.
Eagle-eyed netizens then noticed that Lin, who posted a message about working on Qixi Festival, was actually in Japan two days prior, sparking speculations as to whether the two of them had a rendezvous in the country.
Song's camp had since denied the rumours, saying that there was no truth in it.
Meanwhile, Lin's rep stated, "False news. I hope everyone will not believe such inaccurate information."
The couple started dating after working together in the 2017 drama "Beautiful Reborn Flower" but ended the relationship soon after.
