Jeanne Lau says Etta Ng is doing okay
29 May - Jeanne Lau assures that Etta Ng is currently doing well and feeling better since her hospitalisation.
As reported on Mingpao, the model, who has known the 17-year-old for a long time due to the friendship between her mother Mary Jean Reimer and Etta's mother, shared that she has been very supportive of Etta and will continue to express her support for her.
"It's not convenient for me to say much about her situation, but what I can say is that I will continue to care and encourage her. I am just like her big sister," she said.
Previously, Etta returned to Hong Kong and straight to the hospital following her short trip to Thailand. The trip itself came after a fight with her radio personality mother Elaine Ng, which resulted in Elaine's temporary arrest for intimidation.
Jeanne also shared that she had recently visited Etta, adding, "She was in good spirits. She didn't say anything about not being happy."
As to whether she could persuade Etta to come home to her mother, the model said, "It's her choice to make. I can't force her. All I can do is to listen to her."
She also stressed that she has no idea what actually happened between Etta and Elaine, and will not make any comments about the nature of Etta's condition.
