JC de Vera renews contract with ABS-CBN
20 Feb – Despite the franchise renewal issue faced by ABS-CBN, JC de Vera decided that he will continue to stand with the network by renewing his contract.
On 19 February, the actor shared a photo from the signing event held at the Kapamilya building, and wrote, "Thank you so much for the trust, ABS-CBN. All of my dreams are slowly being fulfilled because of your support."
"I will never stop serving you and the whole Kapamilya. I'm so grateful and thankful for all the blessings! To God be the glory!" he added.
Aside from de Vera, singers Regine Velasquez and husband Ogie Alcasid also decided to renew their contract with the network on the same day.
