No, he is not having another child, but a new song.

The multi-hyphenate recently shared a collage of photos from his "Best of the Year" post as a way to bid farewell to 2024, which he published on Instagram with a snippet of original audio.

"The last day of 2024 is the first day y'all hear my new song with Patrick Brasca. This New Year gift is okay, right?" he posted.

Patrick also took to the comments and wrote, "Romantic songs paired with romantic images. 100."

Fans were elated with the news, with one writing, "This is an awesome gift."

"Thank you. You're the best, Jay Chou," one stated.

Patrick Brasca, known in Taiwan as Pai Weijun, is a Canadian-Taiwanese pop singer of Italian and Taiwanese heritage who is signed to Jay's JVR Music. He is known to Jay's fans as the singer's apprentice.
