Jay Chou to kick off 20th anniversary concert in October
26 Jul – Jay Chou's 20th anniversary tour is set to kick off soon!
The Taiwanese superstar shared the good news on Facebook recently with a new poster for the said concert, which has been aptly named "Carnival".
The post read, "The eighth set of world tour will begin in October this year. Jay has had numerous meetings with the production team and will once again - with extraordinary perseverance and ideas that transcends self - bring his latest concert: Jay Chou's Carnival World Tour".
"To celebrate the 20th anniversary, the concert will have the elements of joy as its main axis. Always leading the trend, what surprises will be in store for fans celebrating the 20th year in music scene? Let the fans around the world hold their breath!"
The upcoming concert will be kicking off in Shanghai this October, followed by Singapore and Malaysia in early 2020.
"The schedule of the tour will be announced one after another. Please wait for it," the post added.
Starting his career as a songwriter and composer, Jay released his titular debut album in 2000 and quickly became the favourite of both fans and critics. The singer currently has 14 albums, with the last one being the 2016 "Jay Chou's Bedtime Stories".
