Jay Chou inspired by the aurora to write a song
13 May - Good news, Jay Chou fans. The singer might finally get a new inspiration for a song now.
The Taiwanese singer-songwriter recently took to social media and revealed that he had the chance to see the aurora, also known as the northern or southern lights, presumably while in Australia.
Sharing several photos of the phenomenon, Jay expressed, "I was just driving, taking the wife and kids to check out the auroras, even finally getting to see a pink aurora and catching a shooting star go by."
He then added, "It would be a disservice to such a beautiful sight to not write a song for this amazing moment. Don't you think?!"
Fans were excited over the idea of an aurora song by Jay, with many encouraging the singer to write about it.
Meanwhile, others couldn't help but poke fun at Jay for being very slow at releasing new material in recent years, with one commenting, "Well, we will hear this song in about five years, right?"
