Jay Chou goes to Cuba to film video for new single "Mojito"
11 Jun – Although he wrote his upcoming Latin-infused song "Mojito" without having been to the country that introduced the cocktail drink to the world, superstar Jay Chou decided to finally visit Cuba to film the music video.
As reported on Wenweipo, the singer who spoke about his trip to Cuba for the filming, stated that the country was on the top of the list of the many places he wanted to visit.
"It's where I had always wanted to go, because there are a lot of antique cars of various colours there. Everybody knows how much I love antique cars," he said.
For the music video, Jay invited good friend Alan Ko and several dancer friends to ride in a bright vintage car on the promenade and capture the charming scenery of the country. He also revealed that there will be some salsa dance featured in the music video.
The upcoming song will be released on 12 June, and will be the singer's first release in four years.
