Jason Mraz’s love songs have long provided marrying couples with the backing for their first spin on the dance floor. And now he’s had his own first dance.
The “I’m Yours” singer, 38, married Christina Carano over the weekend in a stunning outdoor ceremony at the Historic Polegreen Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia, where he grew up. According to E! News, there were about 50 guests in attendance.

“Today I was made the luckiest man in the world,” Mraz wrote on Instagram along with a photo of his stunning bride, wearing a high-neck gown and carrying a bouquet, at the unique, open-air church.
The couple’s honeymoon will be a road trip, so they can take in the fall foliage, which sounds all kinds of romantic.
Mraz and Carano met in 2007 when he wandered into a coffee shop she owned in Hermosa Beach, California. Four years later, they started dating after he ended his engagement with singer-songwriter Tristan Prettyman. She talked about the beginnings of their romance in an interview in August’s edition of The Osider, which featured both of them.

“After several years of crushing on him, the stars finally aligned — and now he’s my stud,” said Carano, who hails from Michigan. “We’ve created a really awesome life together and we make a great team. He’s the most loving, generous, and most hardworking man I know… He inspires me and empowers me everyday to live my best life and he cares so deeply about the things that really matter. We’re truly blessed in so many ways.”
This is the kind of romance that inspires love songs. No wonder he has so many.
