Jasmine Curtis-Smith not saddened by first Kapuso drama ratings

19 Apr – Jasmine Curtis-Smith recently stressed that she is not at all saddened by the fact that her first Kapuso drama didn't do well in the ratings.

As reported on PEP, the actress, whose drama, "Pamilya Roces" ended after 10 weeks of airing - unlike the usual regular run of 13 weeks - shared that she enjoyed her time working on the drama and understands the business side of the industry.

"If it's not doing well, we wouldn't want our business heads or our network heads to sacrifice so much," she said.

Curtis stated that she has been long enough in the industry to understand the business side of it.

"These are the people who are paying me, and if the audiences are not receiving it well, we have to look for another venue," she said, adding that "Pamilya Roces" is just a "warm up" project as a Kapuso.

At the same time, Curtis said that she is happy with the good reception to her guest performance in the new drama, "Sahaya".

The actress previously played the younger version of Mylene Dizon's character in the pilot episode of the said drama.
