Janine Gutierrez shares mother's two best advice
12 May – Janine Gutierrez says that her mother has given her many great advices that it has now shaped who she is as an actress.
As reported on GMA News, the actress who is the daughter of actress Lotlot de Leon, revealed that her mother had taught her the two most important lessons - one of it being to always be careful with her words.
"When I was growing up, she would always say think before you speak. Because as soon as you say something, it's hard to take it back," she said.
As for the other advice, Gutierrez said that it has something to do with her career as an actress, which de Leon shared with her when she first started working in showbiz.
"The biggest advice she gave me was to always love my job. If you love your job, you're respectful of the people you work with, you're respectful of the opportunities you have, only then you will achieve what you want," she said.
On the other hand, the actress revealed that she will not be able to celebrate Mother's Day with de Leon this year due to the enhanced community quarantine, which had separated the mother and daughter in two different places.
