Janice Man denies intending to win a Best Actress accolade

25 Oct - Actresses who dare to take risqué characters are often said to be aiming for a Best Actress accolade, but according to Janice Man, the star of Herman Yau's ("Sara") new movie "Nessun Dorma", that is not the case at all.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who plays a woman who vows to find her kidnapper after she was raped and tortured prior to her wedding, stated that it would have been a lot of pressure for her to do something for the sake of winning an award.

"I only do my best to play the role well," she said.

The actress, who seems to have a habit of mixing her Chinese with English in conversation, stated that she is also trying her best to improve herself after reading a report about it in the news.

"I am an ordinary person with a bad habit too. But I will change," she said.
