Janice Man accused of sparking her own dating rumour

19 Dec – A new speculation has emerged in regards to the Janice Man and Nicholas Tse rumoured relationship, stating that it was the actress herself who triggered the gossip to gain publicity.

According to HK Channel, an insider has claimed that the "Nightfall" actress planned to use the actor's fame to boost her own popularity and had asked their mutual friends to introduce them to each other.

"The group had two dinners together, one of them being Nicholas' business partner's birthday party. She took the opportunity to get his phone number and even told the media that she had a crush on him," said the insider.

Meanwhile, another source working in the modelling industry hinted that Janice herself had leaked rumours of their relationship, saying, "When we asked when the relationship started, she couldn't answer!"

However, their mutual friends have denied these allegations, saying that everybody knows how Nicholas always likes older women.

"Using him for publicity like this is just preposterous!" they said.

Meanwhile, Janice has refused to respond when questioned about the rumour.
