Janet Ma supports daughter becoming lingerie model
21 Feb – Hong Kong supermodel-actress Janet Ma is no conservative mum, as she expressed full support for daughter Irisa Shannon Wong to become a lingerie model for Italian brand, Intimissimi.
As reported on Mingpao, Janet, who spoke to the media at a charity movie premiere recently, shared that she has a strong confidence in the brand, and has even accompanied Irisa to the photo-shoot earlier.
"I don't think there is any issue with my daughter doing ads for lingerie. If she wants to go down this path, my husband [actor Michael Wong] and I will absolutely support it," she said.
Janet stated as a model herself, she is more open to the idea of Irisa working with other male models and doing sexy photo-shoots.
"An actor would also shoot intimate scenes. This is about being a professional," she said.
When mentioned that Irisa and sister Kayla often share sexy photos on social media, Janet stated that she finds no problem with that.
