Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson reveal baby
6 Jan – After teasing fans with her "It's time" post accompanied by a photo of her and a baby on social media, Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson finally confirmed that the two of them have welcomed their first son together.
In a YouTube vlog posted on Tuesday night, 5 January, the celebrity couple started the video with a clip of Salvador giving birth to their newborn child at a hospital in the United Kingdom. Salvador could be heard talking to the baby in the voice-over, saying, "Hey Jude, as I compose this, I am staring at your perfect little face with all the love I didn't know I had in me."
Salvador stated that she was excited about announcing their baby to the world, though nervous at the same time, as she knew how mean the world can be.
The video also contained various clips from the ultrasound appointment, the time they found out the gender of the baby, their activities throughout the pregnancy before she gave birth to baby Jude on 20 October, and the many messages from family and friends.
Rumours of Salvador's pregnancy sparked last year, after the actress was revealed to have flown to the UK to be with Paterson. It was only last September that she and the actor revealed their relationship to the public.
