James Wen establishes his own production company
25 Jun – Taiwanese actor James Wen is proud to announce that he is now a producer, after launching his own production company recently.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actor who spoke to the media at an event in Taoyuan, shared that he has dreamed of opening his own studio ten years ago and was only able to realise that particular dream after gaining more experience and getting the funds needed to do so.
"My team and I are currently reviewing several scripts related to medical and sports themed dramas. It is certainly more stressful being a producer compared to working as an actor, as more attention is required of me," he said.
James also added that he hopes that future films or dramas involving his studio can be viewed on international platforms.
In the same interview, James admitted that he had auditioned to become one of the members of F4 in the past, but failed as he did not reach the height requirement of being at least 180cm tall.
"Although I failed at the time, I was able to make my own way. Now that I am able to realise my dream through my own strength, it really makes me feel tall," he added.
