Jade Leung returns with "Tiger Cubs 2"

29 Jun – It was reported that 90s female action star Jade Leung will make her comeback with the highly-anticipated TVB sequel, "Tiger Cubs 2".

As reported on 21CN, while acting as a judge at TVB8's International Chinese Kung Fu Championship in Malaysia recently, the "Burning Flame" actress revealed, "I will begin shooting for "Tiger Cubs 2" next month after a long hiatus."

When asked if she would be performing many action scenes, the actress answered in the positive.

"I don't mind being typecast as an action star, although I find it ironic that I am judging a martial arts competition right now, since I never had any formal martial arts lessons before!"

This will be her first TVB drama since 2004's "War And Beauty" in which she played the kind but sickly concubine, Nalan Fuk Nga. Although it has been nearly a decade since her last TV drama, Jade's last acting project was the movie "Beautiful 2012".

"Tiger Cubs 2" also stars Joe Ma, Him Law, Linda Chung and Oscar Leung.
