Jacky Cheung's rep assures singer's health

15 Aug – Jacky Cheung's management recently assured that the singer is fine, after it was reported that he fainted on stage during his concert in Malaysia.

As reported on Mingpao, the god of song, who recently performed on the third night of his six-night concert in the country, reportedly fell on stage while dancing and quickly picked himself up again.

He then laughed and said, "So, as everyone could see, today's dance is very special."

Jacky then revealed that he suffered Meniere's disease since he was a child, and that it happened almost once a year. However, the singer stated that the issue had never happened on stage while he was performing before. He stated that he had weighed whether he should be on stage that night, but decided to continue seeing that audiences were already seated.

Following the incident, Universal Music released a statement that read, "Please be rest assured that Jackie did not faint on stage but just slipped and fell. He got up immediately and completed the entire concert."

After completing the third performance, Jacky will rest for four days, and hold three more concerts at the same venue from 18 to 20 August.
