Jackie Chan and Kamal Haasan bond over broken bones
17 Sep - What does Indian star Kamal Haasan and Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan have in common? Apparently, it is broken bones.
As reported on DNA, Haasan, who met Jackie in Hong Kong previously, stated that one of the first things that the action star asked him was how many bones that he had broken from falling off his office balcony in Chennai - an accident that caused a delay in filming his new movie, "Sabash Naidu".
"I told him I had 33 broken bones, [and he said] 'Oh, you are getting there'," said Haasan, adding that that's how they connected.
He was also gushing about Jackie, saying that the "Skiptrace" actor was very true to his Asian origin.
"Jackie didn't change his accent when he went to the West. All of us Asians do that. My accent becomes American the minute I land in the U.S.," he joked.
Jackie had once expressed his admiration for Haasan as well, after finding out that the Indian star played ten roles in his 2008 movie, "Dasavathaaram".
