Whether it be beach or pool, no summer is complete without a splash in the water. An exciting new collaboration between J.Crew and USA Swimming is here to ensure you're stocked for all kinds of aquatic adventures this season.

The limited-edition capsule celebrates the coastal lifestyle that J. Crew has long been known for. Inspired by vintage swimming graphics and '90s beach apparel, the collection features clothing and accessories across women’s, men’s and kids’ categories, including classic crewneck tees and sweatshirts, a swimsuit, windbreakers, bucket hats and baseball caps, and cashmere styles.

In anticipation of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, a partnership between the retailer and USA Swimming just made sense.

"This summer will be an incredible global heritage moment for our brand — and as J.Crew looks ahead, we want to continue to authentically seek culturally significant moments and evolve our rich history of collaborations," Libby Wadle, CEO of J.Crew Group, says in a press release.

Olympia Gayot, J.Crew Creative Director of Women’s and Crewcuts, tells PEOPLE that the coastal lifestyle has "always played an integral part in what summer means to J.Crew."

"When designing this collection, we drew inspiration from our vintage swimwear catalogs and our heritage 80’s and 90s silhouettes," she adds. "Together, J.Crew and USA Swimming are thrilled to celebrate a season of memories in the making through this capsule, featured on these exceptional athletes and friends."

J.Crew Creative Director of Men’s, Brendon Babenzien, echoes a similar sentiment.

“Summer is a moment when J.Crew’s classic American style is at its best," Babenzien tells PEOPLE. "We pride ourselves on our rich legacy and there is a nod to this throughout the capsule collection with a color palette of primary reds, navy blues, true white and creams; honoring the athlete hopefuls on their paths. We’re looking forward to being a small piece of a historic summer for people across every generation. We hope that the USA Swimming x J.Crew pieces continue to remind them of this moment for years to come.”
