The model arrived at the Socialista lounge to celebrate the designer’s latest collection. The event was hosted by “White Lotus” co-stars Barbara Palvin and Patrick Schwarzenegger. The two actors were announced as the brand’s latest ambassador this past January.
Getty’s latest looks include various styles of leather footwear. Earlier this month, she attended the Save Venice ball wearing a pair dressed in nude and completed with a pointed-toe. She wore pastel yellow knee-high boots to the Art Production Fund x Saks gala last month. When sitting front row at Versace’s fall 2024 show on Feb. 23, she slipped into a pair of white ballet flats.
About the Shoes
Completing an Emporium Armani look, Getty stepped out wearing black sandals. The satin heels featured a looped design against the straps that lay around the ankle and almond toe. The set was completed by a stiletto heel that was about 3 inches tall.
Recently, many stars have been gravitating towards strappy silhouettes like Demi Moore, Ashley Graham and Venus Williams, who brought out a pair from Le Silla to attend the “Challengers” premiere last week.
About Strappy Sandals
Many designers update their sandaled styles with a strappy design to bring a unique look to the silhouette. The style first became popular in the 90s when top labels like Versace and Calvin brought playful sets to the runway. Although each silhouette differentiates itself in an original way, most sets are completed by a narrow footbed and a stiletto heel. Strappy sandals have kept a consistent presence in the retail market, however, it gained a resurgence in popularity a few years ago when designers like Yves Saint Laurent brought the trend back for their spring 2019 collections.
