Isabella Strahan reflects on 'feeling weak' and being 'really tired' during chemo

"Jealous of people who don't have to do this," the 19-year-old daughter of Michael Strahan said in a video.

Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella is sharing her experience going through her last round of chemotherapy “hopefully ever.”

The 19-year-old, who was diagnosed with brain cancer last year, posted a vlog documenting the momentous achievement on her YouTube channel on Thursday. She began the video by explaining that she would be traveling from her home in New York to a hospital in North Carolina for the final treatment.

"I'm so excited because it's the last time, hopefully ever," she said. "Jealous of people who don't have to do this, but at least it's almost over and pray for those who have to go through it."

After conducting several health tests, Isabella began the first of three chemotherapy sessions that left her feeling exhausted the following day. “I’m just really tired. It's hard for my eyes to open,” she explained. “I’m gonna go back to sleep. It’s 8:30 in the morning. I went to sleep really early last night too.”

She noted that the treatment had also affected her physically, adding, “My legs are already feeling weak and it's hard to move around, so that’s my update.”

Isabella appeared to be in much better spirits in a follow-up clip as she performed a “hospital fit” check and met with a young boy who was at the hospital for a bone marrow transplant. She and her dad, who played for the New York Giants for 15 years, signed a football for him and bonded over the importance of “little wins” amid their health journeys.

That includes celebrating the end of her chemotherapy. “I'm excited, last bag of chemo today,” she said in a later clip. “And then I have a little confetti parade and I'll ring the bell."

The festivities continued over on Isabella’s TikTok account, where she posted a video earlier this week dancing with her twin sister Sophia while wearing a gold crown.

“Just finished chemo,” she wrote. “Did it.”
