Isabella Strahan Feels Weak, Says 'It's Hard for My Eyes to Open' During Last Round of Chemo: 'It’s Almost Over'

“Jealous of people who don’t have to do this but at least it’s almost over,” the 19-year-old said

It’s the home stretch for Isabella Strahan.

On June 13, the 19-year-old student and model posted the latest installment of her YouTube series, where she's been sharing her health journey after having emergency surgery in October 2023 to remove a large medulloblastoma — a type of malignant tumor — in her cerebellum.

In the vlog, Isabella — Michael Strahan's daughter — travels to the Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina, to undergo her fourth and final round of chemotherapy.

“It’s the last round of chemotherapy! So we’re leaving New York today to go to North Carolina for my last treatment,” she says, smiling.

“I’m so excited because it’s the last time, hopefully ever!” she says. “Jealous of people who don’t have to do this but at least it’s almost over and praying for those who have to go through it.”

After preliminary screenings and getting fluids administered, Isabella starts to receive her chemotherapy drugs. Over the next few days in the hospital, she tries to remain upbeat and keep moving, then admits the medications are still taking a toll on her.

“I’m just really tired. It’s hard for my eyes to open,” she explains. “And my legs are already feeling weak and it’s hard to move around.”

The vlog also shows Isabella’s sweet interaction with a little boy in the hospital who underwent a bone marrow transplant. They both shared their health battles and congratulated each other on their “little wins.”

The model then prepares for the rest of her chemotherapy treatment, and looks forward to the “confetti parade” after finishing and getting her chance to ring the bell.

Last month, Isabella shared her excitement about wrapping up chemotherapy in another vlog post.

“I just want it to be June already,” she said at the time. “That’s the thing, I just wait around for the next time I get chemo and I’m kind of scared once I’m done, how I’m gonna go back to normal life. Because I feel like there’s always gonna be another treatment or something I have to do. But that’s a later problem.”

“Otherwise, I’m doing good,” she added.
