Ira Kazar: Silence is the better option
13 Nov - Ira Kazar has dismissed the notion that she has been mum about her failed marriage with director Syamsul Yusof as a part of a court order.
The singer, who is set to release her single, "Tak Kisah" featuring singer Alan D, said that she finds it useless to try and defend herself when it comes to netizens' attacks, as people will continue to point fingers at her no matter what.
"Silence is the better option. I believe it is more beneficial to continue keeping mum. Talking a lot would risk telling on yourself," she said.
Ira admitted that it is no easy feat to not say anything or to not speak badly about other people, and thus, "Being silent is better."
Stressing that she has moved on from that part of her life, Ira stated that she is now focused on her work and is excited about her single.
"For me, in every cloud there is a silver lining. But I am not sure whether what Allah has blessed me with right now is a silver lining or a test. Maybe it's His way of testing me to see how I control what I have right now," she added.
