Integral Memory presents microSD memory card with record-breaking 512GB capacity
British manufacturer Integral Memory is set to release the first microSD memory card with a 512GB storage capacity -- a new record!
With this level of storage, these high-capacity memory cards will give Android smartphone and tablet users plenty of room to store high-definition and ultra-high-definition videos. The manufacturer also promises data transfer speeds of 80MB/s.
This microSD card is due to launch in the UK in February. Details of pricing and global availability are yet to be released.
At IFA 2017, Western Digital presented a SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card with a previously record-breaking 400GB capacity, but with faster data transfer of up to 100MB/s. It is currently available for US$250.
